We will show you how to move Commercial and Residential freight from Denver CO to Canada

The city know for its outdoor attractions, mountinous topography and over 200 state parks is also a busy shipping hub connecting the most western United States with the rest of the continental USA.   As a regular consolidator out of the region, ShipCanada will show you how to ship from Denver to Canada with direct delivery for less than truckload as well as small package service.

Fortunately, for carriers serving the area, this city offers close proximity to multiple intersate options to simplify the logistics process.   Interstate 25 serves the north/south route between New Mexico and Wyoming and both interstates 80 & 70 connect with neighboring Utah state.

In terms of commercial output, the state is a large exporter of livestock supply and aviation equipment as well as various electronics.  While we do see some larger industrial traffic moving into the area via flatbed truck, most of the cross-border trade originating or destined for the region moves as standard LTL.   For residential package shipments ShipCanada agents will explain the form required to ensure a proper declaration is made upon booking.

Before arranging to have your shipment picked up, we will need to determine how your cargo or package will be customs cleared when it arrives at the international border.   As a general rule, "truck" freight (shipments typically over 150 lbs. or on a pallet) will need to be pre-cleared by a certified Canadian customs broker.   There are hundreds of customs brokerages in Canada that will represent you and the cost can range from $50-200 per clearance.   Visit our Customs Tracking page to see a few of the brokerages listed.

If your shipment is under the 150 lbs. threshhold - and not on a skid or crate (i.e. travelling by courier), the customs will likely be done by the courier in transit.   Large courier companies generally have in-house customs to quickly clear international shipment while they are moving.

One of the main documents you will need with either shipping method is a commercial invoice. This outlines (at a minimum) the Seller, the Buyer, the Value & currency used, the product description (ideally with the an H.S. code) and the quantity of the item being exported.   You will need to make (3) copies of this document and provide it to the driver upon pickup.   If your shipment arrives at the border with the Commercial invoice it will be refused entry.
